V is for Swimming!
Victory is gearing up for another season of fun and frivolity.
Once again Nelson Intermediate is opening the doors of its school pool for keyholders from December to March. “Last year’s pilot was a real success” says Gareth Cashin, Victory Community Health’s Programme and Facilities Manager. “Cardholders had over 1000 swims last year.”
This summer, swimming lessons are also on the menu with ‘Teach the Parent’ sessions being held in December.
“It’s a great example of a community working together to use its facilities for the benefit of everyone,” said Gareth.
