What is the Health Curriculum Toolbox?
The ‘Toolbox’ is a group of resources linked to the Primary Schools Health Curriculum.
The toolbox is a continuation of Nelson Marlborough District Health Board’s 2009 /11 Seasonal Challenges project and is based on market research that supported positive messaging with actions to modify behaviour. This project was evaluated with feedback from parents, Principals and teachers of the the target schools (Decile 1-5).
(See NPA website for Challenges Evaluation Report)
The toolbox is an NMDHB Public Health initiative with support from Sport Tasman, Heart Foundation, Food for Thought, Marlborough District Council and Nelson Environment Centre (5+A Day).
