Harvest time!

Depending on the variety of plant, your sweetcorn should take about 100 days to mature. When the silky threads at the end of your cobs turn brown and wither, they are ready.

Harvest by snapping cleanly (or use a sharp knife) at the base of the cob.

For the best tasting corn, cook the same day you harvest.
