  • 1 can tomato soup (or tinned tomatoes)
  • 2 cans water
  • 2 whole potato diced into small cubes
  • 3 whole carrot finely chopped
  • 2 sticks celery finely chopped
  • 2 whole onion finely chopped
  • 200 grams pasta (or leftover cooked pasta)
  • fresh parsley

  1. Finely chop the potatoes, carrots, celery and onions.

  2. Place the soup (or tinned tomatoes), water and vegetables in a saucepan.

  3. Bring to the boil.

  4. Add pasta and simmer until pasta is cooked.

  5. Add more water if needed.

  6. Sprinkle on fresh parsley.

Variation: Add cooked dried beans.
